15.40 – INTERNATIONAL WITHHOLDING TAXES
Navigating the international tax market is complex, especially for institutional investors who may not possess the tax expertise in all investment jurisdictions. The complex and arcane tax reclaim processes often lead to excess withholding taxes being suffered. Our panel of experts will discuss the latest tax developments which can improve investment returns and cashflows.
Moderator: Dawn Schaefer - BBH
Panelists: Len Lipton - GlobeTax/Steffen Gnutzmann - WTS Global
16.20 – CAPITAL GAINS TAX / FTT
Investment jurisdictions are increasingly imposing taxes on gains derived by non-resident investors. Investors who invest in markets operating a non-resident capital gains tax regime e.g. India, Pakistan, Taiwan, UK, must comply with local filing requirements as well as suffer the tax costs. To ensure proper accounting, it is important to adequately consider portfolio tax accruals to prevent any pricing/valuation errors.

What’s a Rich Text element?
The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.
Static and dynamic content editing
A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!
How to customize formatting for each rich text
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
